Since the age of 16, Natalya Landar has performed Bollywood dance professionally.

From the ages of 17-23 she studied at Nizhyn College of Culture in the Choreographic department. After graduating with exceptional honors she came to her hometown Mogyliv-Podilskiy and for three years directed the Dance Troupe “Dnister cluster”. This group participated in regional dance competitions, participated in festivals, as well as city and regional holidays.

The following 10 years Natalya (who was given the name Nalini at this time, which is the one of the lotus-flower's name) lived and worked in Moscow, Russia.  She spent time traveling around countries to study Egyptian Belly Dance.  She participated in festivals and competitions and also seriously studied the Indian classical dance Kathak at the Indian Embassy in Moscow.

Nalini has taught many students in Ukraine that later have graduated from dance colleges and now own dance schools. One of her students, Natalya Antipova (Lateefah), is a famous Russian belly dancer, and won the title Champion of Russia of Belly Dance in 2005 and today is champion of Europe.

In 2005 Nalini moved to Seattle, WA USA. She teaches belly dance and Bollywood dance classes in the Seattle area and travels all around the US to teach workshops and perform. In 2007 she was featured in her first DVD in the US, The Exotic Art of Belly Dance.

In June 2007 Nalini competed in Belly Dancer USA and won People’s Choice Award as well as placing 2nd in the Solist category.
